How do you aim with rifles?

Post by Regan »

I really like this game but cannot seem to kill anything I shoot. Why when I have a riffle aimed directly at someone do they not die? Where am I supposed to aim to get some kills? Any help on this would be appreciated. Can anybody also tell me which riffle has the better aim Thanks!!

You can't shoot strait after running around.

Stop, crouch, sight in, wait a second or two, fire.

Oh, and welcome to the forums ;)

what we really need is a video demonstrating the levels of deviation, like a little red bar that moves whenever it increases (not ingame ofc, just a demonstration)

When you say stop and wait a few seconds before shooting, what do i do if the target it moving? I have tried the method you speak about, this is how I normally play the game, but even playing like this and with my riffle pointed straight at my target, it never seems to hit it.

Hitting a moving target, especially at range, is difficult. You will have to lead your target by a distance dependent on the range you are shooting at (obviously, the farther away a target is, the more you should lead them). I really don't have any exact formula - at long ranges it's pretty much a **** shoot.

As for accuracy, the only things I can say is to aim for center of mass (the chest), and hold still for a couple seconds before firing. With iron sights you want to align the top of the 'post' with your target. So for a standing enemy only the shoulders and head should be above the post. Remember that at longer ranges (100m+), the service rifles lack the accuracy to hit a target on every shot.

i usually crouch, aim and shoot after a second or longer if i i'm not under fire.

i dunno if this ruins the accuracy, but under hotter situations crouch and fire as fast as i can to stress the enemy and maybe get a suppression effect going and then shoot the second round with accuracy.

I meant to stop moving your body.

Of course you can still turn around, as long as it's not something crazy like 180 degrees in 0.1 seconds ;)

-in close combat use SPRAY and PRAY
-if your target at 50m-100m use my metod turn ur weapone to burst ( 1 click 3 bullets )while you start to shoot push you mouse down becouse there high recoil on burst if u succes the resolt will be that 3 bullets fly at enemy and almost 70% enemy dead or badly wonded (after 3 days of practis its usefull)
-on long range dont try to kil someone if you dont have marksman or any scoped weapone
