Hi there...

I have found several new "problems" with the latest mod. I am very sorry if they have already been posted...

1) When accidentally selecting the wrong spawn point: You default to the main spawn yes? Well, nearly every time this has happened to me I have spawned about 30 feet in the air and fallen straight to my death. This is especially a problem if the main spawn is an Aircraft Carrier - you fall a LONG way! HIGHLY ANNOYING.

2) When an automatic rifleman: When standing up from zoomed mode I wobble about like Jelly for 2/3 seconds and can't do anything. In fact this happens when several other classes as well, including AT, light AT and Marksman. Standing up from a prone or crouching zoomed position causes this. It doesn't happen when just using "normal" classes i.e Medic, Engineer, Rifleman etc.

3) When AT or even light AT an ammo bag doesn't even give you another round. I understand you should be able to get one more (1) round?

This happens to me on all maps.

PC Specs:

CPU: Amd Athlon x2 4200
RAM: 2gb pc3200 (need more to play this properly lol)
GFX: Nvidia 7900GT (512mb)
MOBO: Asus A8V-X
HDD's: 2 X Maxtor 160 IDE

2 and 3 are not bugs.......

2. You have just moved your body... you are holding a very heavy weapon and the stability of moving like that your SIGHTS ARE GOING TO WOBBLE.


Its common sence... If you move your scope/Sights that have magnification and your lookign through them, they are not goign to be stable!! THIS IS NOT A BUG.

As for reloading AT etc. you have to wait a while... and cycle your weapons and equiptment.. and then it will load...

These have been around even from the last version.. Nothing new.. and not a bug.

3 may also be that the rifleman is standing to close to the bag and is draining its ammo

Although the DEVS stopped the expoloit of the rifleman getting a bag back from the bag he just dropped, they fixed it by making it take more then 1 bag to replenish, so it sucks up the ammo that the AT guy is trying to use. You need to put it down, then move around 10 feet away to be sure.

Ok, I maybe can understand the ammo thing, but the spawning 30ft in the air and the wobbling gun is a bug I am sure. Has the spawning 30ft in the air not happened to anyone else?

Also, with the ammo thing, what exactly is the radius of this then? Because if I throw ammo at someones feet.. it should be for them

BF2 engine limitation. There is no way to prevent ammo bag for resupplying everyone in its effective radius. You just have to live with it.

I have found another new bug:

When you use a .50cal mg that's been deployed onto a road (ie not on it's own "built-up" sandbag) when you man the gun, you glitch INTO the road so only your head appears. Then when you get off the gun you take damage and start to bleed.

So many things can just make you start to bleed :p

Im agree with "cptste" the wobbling gun have to be a bug and if it is not is pretty annoying, dosent happens with special kits only even with the medic kit it does, it happens in every map also, ill try to make a vid of it or maybe you should do it cptste el_74, i think fraps would run better in your pc, the wobbling gun can be a huge disadvantage in close combat imo.

And please remove the delay time in Humvee / vodnik .50 cal is useless and annoying.

Good lord, my fist post in ages and its a rant.

Scope wobble: Is there to imitate you getting up, and with 40 pounds (?) of rucksack & equipment on your back, its going to be unstable and slow. Get used to it.

HMMWV gun pause: Imitates you switching your seat & *very quickly ;) * ensureing gun is loaded & ready to fire. Should be longer IMO. Again, get used to it.

Spawning in air: Not sure why this happens. Only advise is select main flag or a bunker/your squads rallypoint ;)

That's intentional.
As for the gun wobble while looking down ironsights/scopes, that has been in vBF2 already.

Yeah, it's totally awesome when someone rushes around in a truck, switching willynilly from drivers seat to gunner, engaging infantry. ONE MAN RUSH FTW!

I have to agree with the Wobble thing, sure it may be realistic but the problem is that you cant do anything while its wobbleing, with another words you cant cancel the wobbleing. And you really cant lay down and get up while looking threw your scope irl, so this wobble thing should be removed and instead the zoom would go out and then youll have to zoom again, wasnt it like this before in PR? And when you jump its same script there, it just looks and feels retarded, like hes running.

The gun wobble was in vanilla, its just more visible now due to the new animations.

You can't reload your ammo or field dressings from your own ammo bag. This was inevitable trade-off when devs got rid off the 'create materia from void' exploit where you could replicate your ammo bag endlessly.

You can get one field dressing from a bag if you haven't used up any other ammo, rifle ammo, frags, smoke.
