Suicide Bomber Kit for insurgents

As the title says ^^

Make it a pick-up kit that looks like a vest with C4 strapped on it. They would have no weapons other than the trigger in hand, so it is hard to tell if they are civilian or not from a distance.

MAYBE: Suicide bombers will have the longest spawntime, perhaps 2-3 minutes, so that not everyone wants to suicide. And these are limited kits that spawn at main.

It would add more depth to the insurgency mode.

What do you guys think?

or maybe limit how often a person can get the kit?

o.o cause more spawntimes will make no one want to be it..

but lets say give it 2-4 minutes to rechoose the kit.. but you can spawn as insurgent within like... 30-60 seconds

If you have to be a collaborator to do it, that way you'd be unarmed and running away. Then when the squad chases you down. Boom.

When you enter a room full of armed men, shoot the first person who makes a move, hostile or otherwise.

He has started to think and is therefore dangerous.

I agree it should be collaborators who pick up this kit, and if holding this kit they can be killed without punishment. So if the targets see you pull out the detonator they can shoot you. And it would give the collaborators a bit more power, seeing as they could run at the soldiers faking a bomb.

The idea of a suicide vest is to be hidden, not a big red vest of TNT sticks on the outside of the clothes. I think the bomber should look exactly like the collaborator until he pulls out the IED detonator and everyone yells "OH F***!!!!"

Good idea! That is why I posted this, so that the community can refine and improve on a suggestion.

How about making the TAKING DETONATOR OUT animation unique/obvious/exaggerated or even slow in order to give troops time to react. The blast radius should be as powerful as an IED? or more?

A lot of people would want it because since .8 forced squads to move together, 1 suicide bomber can have the satisfaction of blowing the **** out of an entire squad.

Or if this is possible, make it so that the spawn time decreases by half for every enemy killed.

If anything i would say less then IEDs. I don't think they should be able to take out a tank/apc.

As far as the detonator goes, have him hold it out to his side unlike anything they have currently. Otherwise it could look like a cellphone. Or just re-texture the IED detonator in bright red or something.

Thank you for explaining gentlemen. And as for the animation - The guy sticks both hands in the air, says something like Allah Achbar, and then boom!

I watched The Kingdom earlier...kind of fresh in my head.
