Thank you very much for a fantastic weekend! A chance to handle British Army infantry weapons, an armor demonstration, a BBQ and a LAN game with the DEVs all in one day? AWESOME!!!

Count me in for next year, I wouldn't want to miss it!

Sorry for the late reply i enjoyed the event most enjoyably and the ch2 and scimi doing what they did was amazing to witness, even tho traveling to the event took more time then the actual event it was worth seeing everyone and having a few beers and a BBQ

Hopefully more will come in from others who where there too, especially Lars who came over from Sweden to take some nice photos too.

I have uploaded 101 images at 3888x2592 in 4 .zip files totalling about 500mb.

I have many more including 87 frames at 10fps of the challenger 2 spewing smoke all over the world, but i'll upload them when i get back from another short away break to Edingburgh this coming weekend!

I was so busy getting my own stuff into writing I hadn't even noticed this thread was here!

Thanks to all who helped arrange this weekend, thanks to all the attending people for making it a good memory.

It was truly a awesome collection of events culminating in the LAN gaming, very unique and very enjoyable.

I enjoyed documenting it all and game a little on Drav's computer aswell on Bi Ming at the end. My written material is now nearly finished and will be 20+ pages of text and about 400 published photo's on my webpage. Tonight will be the last night in a weeks worth of editing and the groupshot will be up at last as the crowning piece.

Woah, that means no net pictures of those things at all? I can close access to my net libraries of images and let ppl have a PR guest pass or do you want them down totally? I asked Undies and Craig about shooting photos but according to them, no problem posting it tho they may have meant access for PR gamers only, not videos on utube...

Gents sorry about the problems with the video`s and Pics in regards of the Vehicle demo the instructor involved had permition for static disply, hence his panic on seing footage and utube, Any pic posted on here shouldn`t be a problem as long as the said person isn`t in view. Again appoliges to LAN for the work put in so far, The Said intructor wanted to give you guys an expericence a limited number of public EVER get, hence the black ops demo, the last thing we want to to drop him in it.

Again some great feed back and good reporting for LAN great weekend guys hope to see you again soon.

As I said, I need to work on it in RAW format. That was the JPEG unfinished. It came into the batch anyway. There was a sunflare unfortunately that I hope to eliminate with some Photoshop.

Ouch, alright. I can certainly respect him for that and will of course edit my reports and the pics. As of now, I'm taking the entire lot offline and will do editing sometime during the weekend. Give him our apologies for this misunderstanding and our hopes that this will go unnoticed.

Are we still good with displaying armory pictures? I do have a cpl that shows the man who let us in, a cpl of Craig and perhaps some more...

I'm leaving the LAN, the Equipment demo and the Tank Museum images up for now.

I just started it there, there's really no place in the forums for such massive spam as that was so I had to stuff it out of the way a bit. I asked where the DEV's wanted to put it but got no reply on that, probably Undies was a bit overwhelmed by text before the event.

If they want to move it someplace else they can so no biggie.

PS: Nearly done with the Groupshot but will leave a little of the sunflare, can't get it 100 across some fabrics and it looks like s**t when I try so I'll have to ask for a more skilled editor and post as is.

Ok guys ref pics, here is the rule of thumb.

Post what you want in here - thats ok.

The sensitive pictures really are only the Smoke Generator on the CR2 being used on the vehicle park (illegal).

When posting pics, try to pic where possible ones where the Instructor Mike is not in it.


Of course you can post pics up, just need to be careful and responsible, thats all.


Armoury etc, etc is all fine to post.




The main problem tbh was youtube footage, thats all.
