I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

We know. We've got it all planned.

Re: Norwegian Forces
Will you guys have the Barrett M82A1 sniper rifle? If so then how will you deal with it being anti-material only in the Norwegian army and illegal to use on enemy personnel?
Personally I think this would be ignored from the second Norway actually is in a military conflict(Like the Americans, who simply made a court order saying that the red cross is full of shit hehe).
But if you are going to do a Afghanistan like scenario only, then I guess you wont have to deal with this dilemma. As it isn't deployed there AFAIK. But if it is, make sure to include the Raufoss Mk 211 round, a great piece of Norwegian arms history.

Re: Norwegian Forces
I believe that's just a myth, and the name "MØR" (materiellødeleggelsesrifle) shouldn't be taken literally. There's no restrictions on shooting personnel with 50. cal machine guns, or even 30mm cannons, so why would there be for the Barrett?sparks50 wrote:Will you guys have the Barrett M82A1 sniper rifle? Makes no sense to me, but maybe I'm missing something...
I really don't think it should be in the mod either way. Not only to keep consistency with other community mods and PR itself, but also because it's too heavy and clunky to be used in the combat role we see in PR.

Re: Norwegian Forces
Also, remember that the kit the soldier is wearing is defined as materiel.

Re: Norwegian Forces
In war, its you or him.
I dont think if theres any Restrictions, in WW2 and NOW, Bofors and some 20mm + 40mm are used..
So if a .50 Cal is "Restricted", a 105mm Cannon should be restricted too..

Agreed. Boring to go through 70 pages to find something. Also make threads for uniforms, hk416/7 and other works in progress. Chop this thread up.J.F.Leusch69 wrote:it would be nice to have some sticky theards with the design plan and stuff like that![]()

Re: Norwegian Forces
-Actually, there are restrictions, they're NATO restrictions, and they're completely impossible to enforce, making them somewhat pointless. Basically, you can't use .50 cal ammo on individual targets but clusters(Along with a few more rules). So what you have to ask yourself is; if you fire upon a cluster and when you stop there's one guy standing is, can you take that last guy down?Fonveh wrote:I believe that's just a myth ...
