Anyway you could add sub forums to the "Community Mapping" forum that would specificly used for "map testing announcements" and "completed maps for download". I just thought a little seperation was in order with all the map idea posts fludding the forum... it is easy to get confused as to what maps are currently being tested and which have been released.

I personally think it would be a great idea to sepreate in develompent maps from complete/ beta maps from map ideas would defiently make it less confusing.

I agree with the above.

I would also like a fan section to the forums. Not about development, but about game play itself. Like the total bf2 forums, sections like tips and tricks etc.

I think we may be using the wikipedia for tips and tricks later, so all users can add to it. Would also be a great help to new players I would imagine.

As for the mapping forums were you looking at having a stickied thread or an actual seperate forum?

A sticky would work fine for this I think. Maybe place a sticky for each map test thread, and maybe 1 single sticky that is updated with completed maps.

That sounds like a good idea. Maybe with the current version, a download link, a small overview and maybe one of two pics. I know I like to look at a map before I go ahead and download it.
