PR forums in other languages

Post by xsub7x »

Hi friends I'm new to the game and at the forum, the truth that the game looks very good to me, the use of voip in this mod I feel great, yet I do not speak English very well but I can play well. Now I wonder if it is possible to enable within the forums of a PR section where they can speak in Spanish, would also be a good idea to enable a few more sections with more languages that are spoken in the game.

thx all ;)

Hablas espanol? Eh? Hablo un poco ;)

But I'm pretty sure there must be a community of spanish people, or something similar. If not then look around, and try and get more Spaniards involved in PR so we can get a spanish community ;)

Edit: (now that i think about it, saying that to someone who can't speak it so well may cause confusion, and may come across as insulting even though it was sarcasm)

Welcome to the Project Reality forums sub7. :)

and I hope you guys can get your own little section where you can mock everyone who can't speak your language. :( Too bad i didn't learn spanish... or any other language for that matter

Reason: Sarcasm may seem insulting :( we don't want that

Hi and welcome.

I'm amazed there are not other language sections, i think there should be. We are, after all, a very international community. I'm just glad i'm an English speaker.

as one of the main purpose of these forums if for the Devs to be able to get input back from the community, having sections of it broken down in various other languages is very probably never going to happen.

And from a MODs point of view, it would make it impractical for us to keep every section equally clean.

That being said, myself being French I do see how the language barrier keeps a lot of existing or possible French fans out (sadly the average French is awful with foreign languages, blame the schools and a strong national identity)
Its no surprise that the main Community modding teams are from countries where English is more present.

Please no, PR forum is a really good way to learn Shakespeare's language (no seriously, you should try too).

I've really improved my english by reading this forum... way more than during years of studies.
Many thanks to everyone involved in the making of the best videogaming experience ever !

Actually, I know a lot of people that learned to speak english on this forum very well through gaming. Just keep trying on VOIP, the more practice the sooner you get better.
