HEY!! WOAH WOAH WOAHHH... I think that's a bit out of line. New Jersey is a great place. Especially Bergen county.

You should say a state that is actually crappy. Like Missouri.

On the subject at hand.

I think the siren is fine to stay. most people ignore it if they think the game is close or its insurgency. I actually like having a warning cause i lose track of tickets quickly and its nice to end the game knowing it.

The siren is horrible. It ruins the game. People stop playing seriously after the siren goes off. People stop being immersed. Secondly, there is no air raid so why is an air raid siren going off?

daranz wrote:I wish the siren wasn't that loud and dragged out. On the insurgent team, it often does not mean imminent defeat, as there's still one more cache that the conventional army has to neutralize. Except when it's starts and you're talking on the voip YOU NEED TO START SPEAKING LOUDER BECAUSE THERE'S THIS LOUD SIREN IN YOUR EARS. A notification is fine, but it's annoying if you're listening for the enemy and suddenly you have this loud sound playing.
Yes, the siren stays, but a bit less audible.

Had a great round with your squadmates? Hear the siren, take a squad picture. Take a screenshot of the score board.

Had a round that wasn't filled with bunny hopping, cheating, complaining/moaning? Hear the siren, say "GG" or "Good game" in the chat.

Have a friend who hates the map that it is currently one, but wants to play the next one? Hear the siren, bring up X-Fire and notify them.
Agreed with this totaly! Keep it in for the sake of this!

Why can't that be done when the map changes? It proves what the topic creator was saying when people stop playing because they hear the siren.

Well, if the others stop playing, use that opportunity to turn the game around :p

It's your own team that stops playing. It's hard to turn it around unless you're going to add in the Rambo kit after the siren goes off.

I usually play seriously and like the fact that you can't see the enemys tickets. When the siren goes off though, I'm playing as insurgent and we're blatantly going to win, I'll admit to running around, shooting the sky with my AK and typing Jihaddist things in chat.

It should be removed, I think EA put it in to show a Nuclear Attack or something. But many players do stop, but if you keep playing, aim and fire and kill when they are firing at the clouds. ;)
