You guys are all incredibly skilled and talented people. The stuff that you guys create is amazing.
My question is, where, how, and why did you learn your skills? When did you start? Do you remember some of your older/first works? What were they like?
I'm simply curious where the masterminds of PR started out. Especially Chuc, as there are almost no really useful animation tutorials for bf2 ANYWHERE (at least, none I can find).
Thanks for any responses, and keep up the amazing work!

Re: A question for the Devs...
My first work:

Icons for PR.. I know I trampled on a couple of heads to get the job, and hence I became a sprite artist when I got 'conship'.
Then I moved onto texturing, which inadvertantly started with the G36c for the Germans.

My advice to people wanting to skill up.. dive into the deep end. Raise your hand for a job and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Animation on the other hand came as a result of asking for a set of super holy-grail of tutorials from Spearhead, our old animator. Unfortunately the original author requested no public redistribution of the tutorial videos after he himself took them down from the BF2 Editor forums. However to get an idea as to how quickly I learned, I did this in June.

Nope, no other tutorial. Its just that good (though I did learn probably another 50% of my ability through good ol' trial and error..)
