Russian tanks.

Post by Pence »

We all know that the MEC are going to use Russian weaponry (unless the devs make a tank that does not exsist and the MEC manufactured it) but more-so with the selection of tanks. I think there should be attention to witch tank should be made, if the dev's are able.

I personaly think that the T-90 is fine but would like to see some T-55's, T-64's and T-72's.

looking at the inventory of the possible candidates of the MEC though, it's hard to imagine them without the T-72s.

Its funny but the T-55 is apealing to me because of the problem with no turret floor.

Does it just have to be Russian tanks? I know China, Ukraine, Poland and such nations have a few tank models that they may be willing to export.

Im for some T-72's with ERA.
Another thing is, Iran is developing some kind of tank, called Zolfaqar, maybe it can be used also

Another thing, if PR ever decide to make Insurgent army i think the best option is T-55 tanks.

But the loader can be crushed by the breach in the T-55, its the most user-unfriendly vehicals ever!

if they made an insurgent army i think they should just make the insurgents have an advantage by the map layout and give them good anti-tank and IED stuff. Then combating the tanks would be a little easier.

Not if we are under the assumption that we're fighting their Elite Forces.

Grey_Ghost: fair enough, but we can't be fighting their elite force everytime now can we? No matter how elite their elite force is i would think eventually we will fight their regular forces, and thus it will not be out of place at all to see T-72s in action.

dunkellic: ERA as in ERA panel??? they don't mix well with infantry u know... not even the soft explosion ERA, i for one would never want to be anywhere near such tank.
