Quick question: does the Dutch C7A1 use the rails around the base of the front sight?

He's made the C7A2, not the A1. I'm using his A2 model as a basis when making this one.

Cant remember all the external changes from the A1 to the A2, but AFAIK its pretty much only the buttstock, so you take the C7A2 model and replace the buttstock with the M16A4's.. that should do it. + it would require only a reskin of the handguard + pistolgrip on the A2.. click on ELCANs and M203's or AG36's and your golden.. all thats needed is a reexport - no uv mapping what so ever.

Not quite. The tri-rail needs to be removed, and the AG36 that is used needs some re-modelling - and, thus, re-UVing and -texturing - because the mount is different from the one on the SA80. I think the cocking handle may be different, too, now that I think about it.

Check out my thread on them in the CON forums.

By mid 2009 all the Diemaco C7s of the fighting units will be replaced/updated. They'll get a RIS to mount handgrips, combat lights, reflex sights and a adjustable length butt stock as well as some other changes.

RIS are RAILS due to the Soldier Modernisation Program right?

Dou you have pictures of the new Diamaco?

And in that case can the model be adjusted?

Changing the model is no problem. I suppose this means you'll basically have an M16A4 with an Elcan on it?

If so, it'd take me about 5 minutes to change the ACOG for an Elcan, and then you could just use the M16A4 for everything else - apart from the Grenadier, who'll supposedly be using an AG36 mounted on the RIS?
