all you really need is for someone to model some better boats :D
We don't make a second 'copy' of a map with slight changes because that would take up so much more space in the map installer download.

You can either have two nearly identical maps OR two different maps.

Hate to go with the general consensus but ........ A , is more tropical and reflects the humidity and stormy afternoons one might find on the Island.

And sets this map apart from the rest of the maps that have been developed to date.

i think that if the militia is south-east asian they would have different equipment than the regular militia. might want to take that into consideration

I was actually thing of community matches and stuff where he could use the second version for that instead mate, I should have made that clear in my post.

If a storm is inbound, will you incorporate the high winds in the environment?
(Wind sounds, rustling, cracked trees, lightning, puddles, flooding, [maybe rain if possible Possible ? Here], extra muddied roads and banks, collapsed houses, floating debris, etc.?

The bottom islands aren't finished yet but ehh thuaght you guys would like an update on the minimap . . so viola . .

I advise not putting a temple there as it seems like that particular island chain seems far too small in terms of population to warrant anything larger than a small shrine (and if it were, it would be on the largest island).

Just a thought, but considering the number of squads a map can have, perhaps you should include more boats. Sure, you've got enough for 30 people, but not everyone's going to be in the same squad.

Doesn't the boat only have 6 spots though? Unless you add another one you can't play ferryman because you wouldn't be able to transport whole squads. Now if someone wants to start modeling new boats, that'd be awesome, this map is a perfect candidate to test M. Warrens light boats idea, though to make and code the boats would take a while.

well, LBs carry 6, hummers carry 5 :D gotta think ahead sometimes :D

but yea, I support the notion of more boats completely, infantry had love first, armour then had love, then aircraft had love...the boats need love!

littlebirds are nice and all . . but the ADF don't use them . . and i don't want to be putting helicopters on this map becuase then it won't be an infantry/water travel map . . they will use the helicopters everywhere. .

oh yes, don't put helicopters on the map, the boat thing is what makes it special :D I was just pointing out that the boats aren't the only vehicle in PR suffering from seat limits :D

I am not picking at this map too much to be honest i am only posting the dislike because you asked for constructive dislikes.

Can anything be done with the one shaded green with the palm tree leaves?

Thanks Albatross, I'm a bit confused - by one shaded green palm tree leaves do you mean , how all the palm trees in the original pictures were all the same colour ?

if so i have fixed this already by changing the forest to more of a " palm tree here and there" lots of bamboo " and a weeping tree here and there, so you will notice the one shaded green MUCH less.

if you don't mean that- please explain
