Blood
I love this game on how real it is but it just dosent have blood, im not sayin there should be blood and gore just atleast some burst of blood like add it in with the poof of dust when people get shot and replace the dust when u get a head shot and make it like a mist of blood. I would really appreciate if this was added in the game.

Re: Blood
In the previous versions of PR, before .7 there was a mist of blood affect while shot, but this was taken out, because it was not realistic to occur on areas covered by armor. As such the BF2 engine does not allow this affect to be turned on and off for different hit points. So it’s either have it or not and it is more realistic to not include this.

Re: Blood
A SPRAY OF BLOOD FROM A WOUND IS NOT REALISTIC FOR 90% OF A SOLDIER'S BODY.
Body armor and clothing will often stop immediate blood, and it will simply seep out of the wound and into the uniform. A shot that hits the soldier in the head will likely be contained by the helmet, unless the wound is low enough to have the exit wound be outside of the back of the helmet.
Because of this fact, the blood spurts would only be realistic in the areas not protected by body armor.
And guess what? We can only have ONE effect for when you are shot. No matter where. You could be shot in the foot. BLOOD EVERYWHERE. You could be shot in the neck. BLOOD EVERYWHERE. You could be shot in the finger, BLOOD EVERYWHERE.
Hardcoded, resuggested, and overall unrealistic.

That guy has been here since 2007 and has 20 posts. He probably should know, and considering it has been explained above by Cheese and Raniak, its wasn't exactly a smart post. MOD pl0x to locking.ExisSellos wrote:Turn it on.

locked, everyone else explained it
"You know we've had to imagine the war here, and we have imagined that it was being fought by aging men like ourselves. We had forgotten that wars were fought by babies.
