It is harder to fly imo and the pilot view is more restricted. You should avoid diving to use the hydras, they are weak anyway. Its all about the hellfire tv missile imo.
Im impressed how strong the gun seemed to be in that video though
It tends to dive like your wearing concrete boots, dont stick the nose down unless you have lots of height

but... but.. flying after a few beers is so much fun.DarkTalon wrote: in fact don't even bother getting near an aircraft if you are

(though if I feel a huge need to fly I usually switch to falcon 4.0 AF since I don't think my teammates appreciate my awesome skills which usually put me in the situation where the LB is somehow attached to a palm tree)

Woah no kidding 5000mb is alot. i have 2000mb but it still runs fine. Could it be you're running too many background task? Cos i closed some of my useless ones and it does help. But for 5GB of ram back ground tasks are nothing. It might be something else.Petey wrote:i doubt its my ram because i have around 5000 MB of ram

A 0.5 saying was on AL-Bas: "the Insurgency's greatest Anti-Air weapon are Palm Trees"[R-DEV]dbzao wrote:We can't do much about the lag, and I think it's really an invisible helicopter killer super weapon that enemy probably has.
The other day we got both cobras in Kashan at round start, and started moving towards the bunkers to get lag and crash both after flying for 1 min.20 min waiting...

LMFAO Im all except drunkDarkTalon wrote:if it's too hard to fly then don't fly. there are many people who can use apaches and any other aircraft in an extremely, almost unfair manner. me and my gunner got over 700 points (each) hunting t-90s in the hills of kashan, we lasted 1 and a half hours without crashing/getting shot down. if all you're going to do is tip over after the first 3 minutes, then you should probably get in a tank or something that is easier to control.
in fact don't even bother getting near an aircraft if you are

Re: Apache Control?
Maybe a usefull tip, there is a butterzone for all the choppers. This is the point at wich they are the easyest to control, in a hover.
With the apche it should be around 24/25% on the throttle.
And futhermore, plz use a joystick when flying. Tt makes things some much easyer.

Re: Apache Control?
All the helicopters in PR are flawed to be honest, but that has alot to do with the engine. The dives are wrong, acceleration is too fast and the tail rotor doesn´t seem to have any effect at over very slow speed.

Tail rotor's the one that always befuddled me. It cuts out at extremely low speed altogether... Not even slight adjustments are possible with it.[R-CON]Alex6714 wrote:All the helicopters in PR are flawed to be honest, but that has alot to do with the engine. Having learned to fly my Vidya Gayme choppers in Desert Combat, it took me a very, very long time to adjust to PR flying.

Re: Apache Control?
Was yesterday on Kashan on the 10th. Our Apache squad didnt seem to have problems with the controls.
That a commander forwarded targets didnt hurt either.
