New Symbol

Post by cyberzomby »

Hey fella's

Maybe we could include a sign in the squadleader arsenal that shows that you DONT want people to move in somewhere. In the heat of a fight some messages you say across voip may get lost and if the squadmembers see a move or attack marker they usually try to move up there.

So yesterday on Muttrah there was this alley wich was held by US forces. I told them to not enter it because we would lay in ambush if they where to come out. 3 of my squadmembers still moved in and got killed.

I know its kinda my own fault because I need to keep them in line but Im not that person that feels like shouting the same damn thing against people I dont know that volunteered in my squad.

Tell people that you don't actually want them to move to attack markers. I almost never use the attack marker to indicate places for the squad to move to, and I've seen plenty of people use a similar convention.

The only way getting in the way here is the voiceovers that say "Move out, attack here!," but you should still be able to make it clear to your SMs.

If they can't hear you, type in squad chat 'STOP' as fast as you can

the only way to prevent what happened was for your squadmembers to obey you, that they did not was their own bloody fault and you bear no responsibility.

Eventually you'll be like me...desensitized to the whims of my squadmembers

Yeah it's hard work sometimes stopping squaddies from going to their deaths, but most squaddies are like sheep, if your in a crappy situation and they keep running off to die, run away and a couple will usually follow you and then the rest will follow them, then get another rally up and then you'll have less dying squaddies ;)

Yesterday was a pretty poor game though. In the end it turned a bit more liveley. But the first half was terrible :P Just one of those games.
