lag when flying planes

Post by mp5punk »

I have pretty decent lag when flying planes, only when maneuvering them like turning or taking off. Anyone know why?

Now this is the thing with mine, i have lag spikes when in the training servers and were in like 3 a10s doing a gun run on a target at the same time. The second we start spraying everything studders. I have a quad core, 9800gtx, with 2 gigs of ram at very high speed. It aint my machine.

So i figures, heck, must be a common ground problem when too many a10s are firing at the same time no?

So we's drop one a10 off and do a gun run with two a10's now's.

Still...

Weird's aint's it's?

(Sry i just saw an episode of the hard rock band on adult swim (forgot the name of the show), one of the guys talks like that.)

Anyway, anybody else get that?

Plus the studdering happens when flying as well at times, not firing.

Exactly the training server is where my lag is.

yeah the training maps have TONS of units, thats probably where the lag is coming from.

I only lag in the A-10, any other plane flies smoothly. I also noticed(thanks to training servers) that little birds are the best light utility helis in the game(the eurocopter can hardly turn at all)

I get this too. I suspect it's something to do with the sound of the A10 gun firing, or maybe it's animation. I don't fly them but I get the lag often when they are hitting the bombing range and specifically when they are firing their gatlings.

I get a little "network type" lag when turning the A10 for example but I don´t remember getting what you describe.

The effect for the impact of the cannon projectile emits alot of smoke, too much that it even stops rendering (will be fixed) but that shouldn´t cause a high end computer to lag even if you are close...
