[Weapon] Colt M1911A1 [WIP]

Ok, for my first model(before I try doing that SPG9) I'm doing my favorite pistol, the Colt Model 1911A1 .45 Caliber Pistol! *Epic Music*

Work that needs to be done:Add in the pretty much everything
I was thinking this could be given to insurgents and/or militia
Update:Couple hours later. Yeah sad progress. My biggest issue is keeping the lines flowing. :-( Any ideas?

I can't give you any comments because it is still too much a WIP. I started a Colt 1911 too few days ago, what a nice pistol :p

Nice Delta :) The Colt 1911 mk 1 was also my first weapon model. Good luck with it man.

Ok, Ill try the weld, I tried connect the last time, but it may have been the vertices were nowhere near one another? Whenever I hit connect nothing really happens :-(

USMC MEU units use these and this should be given to them since BF2 describes the MEU Marines.

Only issue is that we are using conventional USMC not USMC MEU, and they use a highly updated version of it, not the WW2 Vietnam version I'm modellign

Noted the 1911 MEU. Also if you read the Gulf of Oman map description its says Marine Expeditionary Unit. Its the only map but I thought It might be pretty cool if you made the Colt MEU.

That is vanilla Battlefield 2. This is Project Reality I'm making it for, it is just the United States Marine Corps. I could make an MEU variant for the USMC SOF kit, but I'd have to find a picture of one with a silencer

You won't see too much of this for awhile since I got bored of First Person Shooters and I'm playing with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Buzzing MD88s and 747s in a Republic P47 is fun :D

I have a better question: to The Devs, if I do a good model of this, and possibly texture it myself, will there be the possibility of it being added to the game?

This is a bit off subject, but it has to do with Marines and weapons for them.
So standard marines use the M16a4, Recon Marines use the M4/M4A1, what do the Marine MEU use?

Project Reality represente the WHOLE Marines Corps. Not just the Expeditionary Unit. Its like said they just add the 10Th Mountain division instead of adding U.S.Army entirely.

But the Colt M1911 is... the Classic. This gun is thought and reliable and it pack a much more bigger punch than the M9.

No not really the MEU SOC 1911 barrel does not have any threads to adapt a silencer and bump since im curious about this post

I'm busy on my CNR9 (Check my sig)at the moment. If I ever finish that I might turn to the 45 again
