Just wondering if it has been considered possible to bring in the UAV for the commander's use. Since the commander is locked up in his box, maybe there could be a UAV he could not fly but "use the camera".
Like a squad leaders asks for a UAV it gets there and the commander is able to switch over from the standard commander screen, and see and use through the lens on the UAV to see enemy units and mark them with the "contact" interface.
I say that the commander shouldn't be able to fly and has the use of the UAV for a limited but good period of time, to pervent the commanders taking off in the UAV and troops never seeing him again. And it would be pretty hard to zoom in and out looking at the ground and flying stright or in a circle.
Just a quick thought.

Re: Eye in the Sky
Has already been suggested*, and even in the specific way of the commander/user watching the picture directly.
*for some reason, "U" appears to be under "W" in that list. Someone might want to fix that.
