I have yet to see a game like BF2, that the designers actually put some effort in to stop smacktards. Simple task of not letting the main base(uncap) be raped continuously throughout the whole game... i mean... jesus. PR simply put a no fly zone for everyone on the opposite team on those, how hard would that have been for them?
Indeed the focus of game designers is to make a cool game that will suit everyone, but they make it for 4 year olds at times. Im sure they knew there were gonna be problems that we face today in vBF2 but decided it was best to leave it alone cuz thats what the little retarted kids will like. But enough about this rant, PR is the greatest. ALL HAIL PR!
(Just got a vision of Hitler doing one of his public speeches, but this one was about how great PR is. AHhaahaaha, i should make a video of that.)
What do you think the BF2 creators must feel about PR

I hope they make future games fairly moddable.
That way they provide showcases for peoples work with the original game whilst they are studying comparible subjects at college/uni that provide them future staff working on new games.

Well BF2 is indeed an inperfect game. That is why I have boycotted EA since Spore.
They rush things and instead of having several games that will sell extremely well to differeng groups of people they try to have all their games sell to everyone which ofcourse leads to the games not selling very well at all.
Recent examples include Spore ofcourse and I'd like to say it includes BF2142 to.
That last one is nothing more than a big pfat mod and engine upgrade for BF2 together with even more spyware inbundled with it.
Though I must say that they still did do quite well with BF2.
Even though you can't blow up even the smallest of bushes or fences it is still a good game.
Its concept is actually quite unique or the most advanced of its sort. The commander is actually fun, the frag system and point system are IMO better than in PR. Here you seem to get less for healing someone and killing someone than you do simply camping a capture point even though it was taken ages ago.
Project Reality is indeed the game BF2 would've been if they concentrated on a niche market and probably even better as they would have let the engine do more things as more destructable enviroment and perhaps even the possibility to change enviroment. Not to mention a moving scope when you run and all of that.
But its EA and they did accomplish their goal with this game: Dollar signs.
