I'd just like to say hi before posting and bugging you all with questions and how to's. I just read a little about this mod in a thread on the EAUK forum, So I am very new to it, and dont really now much about it yet. But what I have seen looks very good and I a'm certainly intriqued.I've just began the download of the mod, or at least I think have.

The one I am downloading is called "prmm_0254_setup.exe" and is 281.80mb in size. Please correct me if I'm downloading the wrong one.

Is there anything else I should now about running this mod as I am totally new to mods and havent a clue like.

thats the correct version. using the mod is very simple, its just killing stuff in it thats the hard part (at least for me

hey there and welcome to the site.

you are downloading the correct version yes, but soon with any luck 0.3 will be out for you to download soon too

as for running the mod is pretty simapl, its just like playing BF2:SF ect. The mod is installed to its own folder, and all you have to do is click on the shortcut icon and run it

Basically the mod will take some getting used to at the start. But after you start playing as a team player you will learn to love it. I haven;t played VBF2 since i downloaded it and remaber if you need help don;t hesitate to MSN me.

Do I just let it install itself where it wants to go?

Or do I create a folder for it?

When i did it the .exe will install itself and create a desktop link. Use the desktop link and the regular bf2 login screen will appear login go to multiplayer or singleplayer and have fun. Also don;t be afraid to ask questions we don;t bite and will be more than willing to answer any questions even if they seem like stupid ones to you.

Just dont try SP on custom maps, they dont support it.

All worked fine thanks guys, I must say I'm very impressed.

I cant believe how much more atmospheric this mod is to the standard game, I think I'm a convert actually. I kinda felt like I was deeper in the game. And the sound effects are awesome.

Truly, a massive well done to the creators of this fine peice of software!!

deffinatly single player is worth playing just for practice. only standard BF2 levels though.
