I can't believe there´s people seriously suggesting the T72 as the MEC MBT. How fun would it be facing the Abrams on Kashan in an old Soviet tin-can designed over thirty years ago?

And nice work on the model, man. Will it, like your awesome Ka-50, cause to much lag or will you be able to make it into the game? In that case I suggest you speak to the developers of the Russian community mod.

IIRC noone really knows what the T95 looks like yet.


And LeClerc is a good choice. Giving the MEC European equipment is both realistic and washes away the old "Arabs use only old ruskie weapons"-stereotype, making the PR MEC feel like a very unique force.

Putting the Leclerc as the MBT of MEC would be an interesting choice. But I still preferred the original version of MEC fully loaded with Russian stuff.

But, seriously. LeClerc would be a good choice for a MEC MBT. Although it wouldn't mix well with the rest of the Russian vehicles they use. In that case I guess the new tank will be either the Al-Khalid (Pakistani tank based on Chinese Type 90) or Zulfiqar-3 (Iranian).

It's still under development, so the one picture that I found does not necessarily show what the thing will look like when the Russian Army receives it.
