Trying to hold village on Fools Road can fail epically if you cant advance for the same reason you are back to village, that damn militia armor. That strategy oftentimes results in being driven out of village by the tanks, although I lost a game to brits as CO.

PR takes the pacing of the less boring parts of combat operations and reproduces them quite nicely.

You often have no idea what the big picture is, people get lost, objectives seem to change arbitrarily, the enemy doesn't cooperate and setbacks come out of nowhere. New guys follow the guy in front of them, spend a lot of time prone looking at grass, and try to shoot in the same general direction as everyone else. And then you get shot/grenaded/blown the f&^% up.

Yep, that's about right. I love this mod. I particularly enjoy the really long games with a cohesive squad on foot.
