INTENTIONAL T/K's

i am sick and tired of mentally deficient idiots teamkilling for their own pleasures, it ruins your game and there is not a lot u can really do about it if admin are not available, (most of the time)
how about if you T/K 3 times in a round, u are kicked from the server, if this happens again you IP is logged and you are banned from that server until u grovel to admins and request you ban lifted???

what do you think, is this workable?

The best answer is good admining. One misplaced grenade/tank shell/missile could easily get more than 3tks in a single impact, let alone in an entire round.

This would be server side and modifiable by the admins.

Like IAJTHOMAS says, it's best to have a good admin on that can deal with it. (Some EEF guys will know why good is in bold, let's just say someone got kicked whilst flying the teams F-16.)

Off Topic But related: Whilst on the subject of admins, something desperately needs to be done about the training servers.

yeah, sry didnt think about that, just trying to come up with a solution to some of the muppets that T/K on porpose, admins are not always available, maybe raise the figure to 5, or 10, or alter it for different vehicles, in a tank u can get away with 10 accidental t/k's

if you t/k more than 10 in a tank then surely u shouldnt be a tank gunner??

It's possible, but every server has their own rules... and the power should stay with the server alone.

Besides, while I also find intentional TKers to be a pestilence in the defecating part of your body, which would require immediate aspirin relief, there are many instances in which you could be kicked for playing the game correctly:

1) Flying transport helo, get intense 5 second lag out of nowhere and die in a burning wreck with everyone else in there. (Though, tbh, pilots should fly helis/jets if they are aware of lag).

2) Friendlies are nearby an enemy heli, you shoot the heli killing it, but the blast from your AA kills all your teammates.

3) You place a mine on a high priority road, carefully labeling it and bringing it to the attention of all friendlies, but an APC driving smacktard takes a fully loaded vehicle and forgets that mines can't differentiate between teams.

These problems are recurring, but if you have a well admined server you can avoid the problematic people.

Anyway you slice it, there are pros and cons. The only thing worse than not being able to successfully kick-vote a TKing smacktard, is being kicked for punishing too many TKs on you :-P .

Edit*: I've got to stop writing long responses, cuz everyone else beats me to the punch.

Unfortunate incident where a shot misses an attack chopper making a low strafe directly towards you, proceeds to hit a full transport chopper and then the wreck of that hits a squad that are close together setting a rally = Potentially 14 TK's (Note my optimism lol.)

If you were to up the limit for specific vehicles, the griefers would simply use that vehicle to TK.

Wow :-o that much bad luck probably means you should take the day off, you run the risk for being hit by a bus or even a plane if you venture outside :-) ! I also have to agree with you, griefers WILL use that vehicle to TK.

Still, as long as the community continues to think about solutions, one will come.

Bring back the "unable to use vehicles after TK" feature

these normal suspects you cant ban for ever, dynamic IP's and they buy new keys so like people said, play on server with admins.

No, it worked pretty well actually. It had its flaws, but its better than getting headshotted 10 sec before tank/APC/chopter/jet spawns
