Sorry for the newbie question but I couldn't find anything about this on the search.
I've only been playing PR for a few days and while I've been doing pretty well, I've obviously been killed plenty of times. I've been wounded a couple of times where I didn't die instantly and I've noticed that every few seconds, my character will go 'arrgh' and I'll get the red border and a damage arrow. I thought at first I was being shot at and hit but this seemed to happen alot (like 4 times in a row which I'm sure would have killed me if it was gun fire!). This even happened when I was behind cover in an alleyway, with no enemies around.
So, if my character gets shot and wounded, does my health drop slowly until I get to a medic as though he had an open gun shot wound?? Sorry if this is a really stupid question. Good feature if I'm right.

Yeah, it's a cool feature but confused me too at first. I thanked my lucky stars that I could take so many hits, but after it happened a couple times I realised it must've been a wound. Is there anything planned in development to help people differentiate between wounds and hits? Perhaps a different effect for bleeding than hits would be in order. I guess HUD symbols are out of the question, but the HUD's really designed to let us know what our in game character would know. Right now it's not possible to know if you're pouring with blood or not...
