[?] house_dest

[?] house_dest

While I was checking what buildings PR is offering to use mppers I found a foulder called "house_dest". They look like normal houses. However are they destructible? and do they have possibility to lightmap? I would like to know that before I use them because I have to carry the map over to an older PC to lightmap so I fear wasting time.

please do not PM me direct questions, I was almost tempted not to answer your question because of this.

The Eastern EU houses are for the most part "ok" to use, but none of them are setup to be destructible at the mo. These objects where never "finished" as such, many have bugs, mainly on the 2 story versions where you can't shoot though the windows etc. the 1 story versions you can use for the most part, some where used on fools road in the village if you look.

Lightmapping them and some other PR objects appears not to work. It throws an error and the Model itself appears with parts missing. HOwever any normal BF2 Models do work (except the XPAK). Is that a screw up on my part? I checked fools road and they dont look lightmapped too. Also something else is confusing. Even if they do not lightmap tzhey appear to have some fomr of real time lighting applied that reacts to changes of sun direction. Arent Statics supposed to appear only lightmapped?
