Try it again when you have a helmet on, sweat running down into your eyes, and you're trying to hit a target 400m away. :-|

How is that going to affect your ability to revert your focus from your target (looking centrally down your sight) to your surroundings? It literally takes miliseconds, you would not need to un-shoulder your weapon.

Does sweating whilst wearing a helmet really make it impossible to focus on things outside your sight area? You wouldn't have permanent blur-vision in your peripheral vision whilst holding your weapon up would you?

this has nothing to do with the firing of a weapon so his post is still perfectly valid. in terms of using the weapon, or its versatility in certain environments, as long as the question does not involve the pulling of the trigger, anything milsim including paintball is valid.

i dont like people who keep saying oh dont compare this or that to the real thing, its not even close! Yes it is close to the real thing up untill the point when you make the shot, everything up untill that point, maneuvering in a tight area, shouldering, sighting in, is usable comparison. its like saying a 22cal model of an M16 is not comparable to a real 5.56mm M16 while practicing with it unloaded.

@Boltcatch: i think a paintball/airsoft mask is more than enough to make you sweat the same in the face.

well I at least had sweat in my eyes and was exhausted in the later games and I could easily do that. Its just as easy as keeping your "weapon" replica in my case shouldered and instead looking trough the sights look left and right from your "weapon" or replica.

EDIT:
Bringerof_D thanks :) your exactly right. its not called a replica for nothing. Its a true to life model of its real counter part so Im puzzled on why people think sighting in on a replica is anything different than on its real life counterpart.

The effect is nice, but isn't the whole representation of blur a bit unnecessary? been a while since I used the irons on my bro's BB gun (which is probably the closest I'm gonna ever got to firing a real gun), but when I have the blur would seem to be representing focusing down your sight. So if your focusing down the sights on the screen, although it won't be blurred, your won't be paying attention to what's around you, which gives you the possibility to look around (kinda) freely while having your weapon shouldered, which seems more reasonable to me.

Nah what would this affect on our experince? Focusing on beutiful fog, instead of focusing on the enemy?

you guys are forgeting that the FH2 effect is replacing the black&white shader that we get in choppers , and since that shader is hardcoded (means you cant have both , a eye focusing and a black&white) this sinple is not gonna happend .
