Is it worth downloading?

Post by RomeoDelta »

First off, I would like to introduce myself to the PR community. My name is RomeoDelta, and I love BF2.

Now the reason I made this thread was because I just reinstalled BF2, and remembered seeing the PR mod somewhere a while ago. I was wondering if it is populated? Are there a decent amount of servers with a decent amount of players? The mod looks very nice, and good job to the designers for making it.

Thanks in advance for any help given. :)

Welcome to the forums.
If you like lots of teamwork this mod is worth downloading. On any given day there are several servers populated and more on the weekends.

Just read the manual so you are lost when you start playing.

Thanks for the quick reply. I love teamwork, however in regular BF2 I don't see it used very often. I guess I'll go ahead an download it, and *hopefully* see some of you in game. :D

I read through the manual, and yes I have a mic. My only problem is that the core download keeps failing. :/ I'm going to try with IE..

I saw 3 full servers yesterday night, so I think the main problem you will have is not finding players, but finding a spot on a full server. ;)

This game makes regular old vBF2 feel like a childish arcade game. It's larger, more tactical and much more complex.

Read the manual, use a microphone.
