Hi, i have now played for some weeks now and i realy cool. I also played this mod long time ago, then there was a class called "anti personnel" witch i loved and spec ops with P226. The mod has come a long way since then, but i have some suggestions!

I personally hate the ACOG and the other types, not my "style". :-P I think they suck, too slow. Realy hurting my CQC so i always use iron or aimpoint.
I love the grenadier class, but im stuck with the stupid ACOG, what if all the optic classes could choose between ACOG and Aimpoint with the weapon switch system if it works? (maybe iron too?) More realistic too, every soldier is different.

MG class: Whats up with the total weapon check all the time? For the love of god, just pull the bipod leggs up!
If not, give him a pistol!
Or maybe a M-16 mag in the SAW for some CQCing ;-)

Marksman: Sucks! I can't follow the squad this this bad shooter! I know about the slow aiming thing in 0.8 but the marksman is just hopeless, im personally in real life a much better shooter then this guy and im mot a specially trained DM. (just a gun nut :D )
Give the marksman a pistol too, can't defend myself in CQC with a high powered scope.

The shotgun: It's useless now, give the buck shots back! And more ammo. I know it's for blowing up doors on some maps, but is the engi supposed to carry a useless gun on all the maps? Miss my good old AP class :cry:

I miss the P226, what happend to the Marine spec ops? What was it called?

Will be fixed AFAIK. Scope in times will be quicker in the next version.

The DM rifles will be more accurate in the next version.

Not sure what you are on about here... The spec ops class is still in game.

it sounds like you want every class to be good in cqc. thats not how its supposed to work. if your a marksman you shouldnt expect to be able to clear rooms, thats not what a marksman is designed for. however if you got a ironsight rifleman in your squad then he should take point in any cqc type situations. but he wont be able to hit **** at a long distance like you can. its a balance.

go on a training server with a friend, then stand on each side of the road in village/INF training and try to kill each other. You will then understand how well ACOG is!

the shotgun is not a combat weapon in PR, it is for breaching the doors you find on Korengal, and hopefully other maps in the future.

Well, marksmen in USMC have pistol with them, M92F I think. And I think automatic riflemen have one too. Marksmens' weapons are pretty good imo, only M14 sucks.

And ACOG is awesome, burst without aiming is good enough if you don't have an AP.

I'm saving up for a p226/p229 :33_love:
it sounds like you want every class to be good in cqc.
I want every class to be able to defend there self, a pistol is just a defensive tool. It's not like a carbine in cqc.
I'm 100% sure a DM with a 10x fixed scope have a pistol too.

It was for some patches ago, why not now? They use them for house clearing all the time in Iraq.


ACOG scope types are just too slow for me, enemy out of range or killed me before i'm able to see thru the scope.

then use iron sights, thats what they are for.. and there was a massive thread about DM's and SAW gunners getting pistols IRL and SAW gunners don't and im sure it was concluded that DM's dont either.
