Why is there a problem with giving this to US on insurgency maps?

if you want a problem as to why we can't put this on to a US insurgency map, is we do not have as US Vs INS that fits a MBT.

yes, but Basrah fits it, lots of open ground and there are loads of CR2s there in r/l.DeltaFart wrote:Al Basrah with Brits has one

Fallujah is an insurgency map right? That should be big enough, and I beleive Abrams were moovig around there providing fire support alot right?

Kind of a stupid, off-topic question, what does TUSK stand for?

Personally i like tanks in a close urban enviroment, rather than just having it sit in the open spamming shells, means u have to be smart about playing as a tank commander. Also it means that it survives better than ur regular APC/ recon vehicle. I know this has a chance of being unrealistic but putting mybe 1 of these in, say, AL Fallujah, would be interesting id think: Tank can kill the insurgents in buildings no probs, but the tank is still vunerable, despite having an extra MG.[R-DEV]Rhino wrote:yes, but Basrah fits it, lots of open ground and there are loads of CR2s there in r/l.

Re: [Vehicle] M1A2 Abrams with TUSK [WIP]
I've got to agree with Drew.
I've always been perplexed with why heavy armor and urban maps were never put together in PR (I would not consider Basrah urban). I could understand the anti-armor feelings about how they "kill the action" since it takes a lot of power to take one out, but its not impossible. On an urban insurgency map, it just seems like armor should be the first thing considered before anything else.

hmmmm my opinion is that this looks to similar to the US Tank in Crysis so wire frames would be a nice feature to post

Re: [Vehicle] M1A2 Abrams with TUSK [WIP]
I'm sorry but I'd prefer a new model like this one no matter if it's TUSK or not than the vBF2 one! If this truly is his own made model then he should be encouraged with more positive comments. And BTW, the model does not resemble the M5A2 in any way.. The sides are eliptic on the M5A2 and the Main body is more round and less blocky than the model here.
+It's not so asymetrical as being like a Javelin, it's only a Crow and an M240, nothing horribly unbalanced! And isn't PR turning for more asymetrical reality than balanced sheiss a-la-vBF2?

would be grate to replace the vBF2 M1A2 at some point but not the highest priority right now.
the only really difference between the TUSK and normal version of the M1A2, gameplay wise is the M1A2 has a RWS on it as standard, all the rest is really just visual differences and have little to no impact on gameplay.

Re: [Vehicle] M1A2 Abrams with TUSK [WIP]
it looks sweet...ppl who say taht it wouldnt be put on tank maps like kashan are right though...maybe the devs could use both models..on for insurgency..one for tank wars
dude you should make a NEW LAV and AAV7...that would be sweet...
but to me it seems america is becoming...a bit over powered with all this new stuff...we need new models for other countries
