'[R-DEV wrote:Jaymz;860984']I offered to do audio work for the Kiowa that both of our mods could use. In other words, it went down in a way that was similar to this...
But seriously, we have a very strong relationship with USI, EoD etc. Hence, we tend to share assets and dev talent a lot.
What role would it have if we get the Kiowa Warrior?
I'd be awesome if the passenger could get a TV camera with zoom, kind of like the attack chopper gunners, but for reconnaissance.

I would have left it on the model, too, just for some protection in-game. But in real-life the doors are taken off in the desert since there is no climate control on those things; that was one of the things the ARH was going to have before they canceled the program.
Because the DEVs want it to be used in its intended role of armed recon rather than be employed as a super fast tank killer of doom?

Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!
I have no idea why they (USI) chose that particular load out but for it being in PR, it's exactly what we would want for the reasons Bob just pointed out.

well hello there, alien dome of omniscience above the rotor.
i guess it looks pretty cool. i'd like to have it replace the attack little bird, but also keep the transport versions of the littlebirds.

The LB shouldn't be in PR at all, IMO, so any move in that direction is a good thing. Hurrah for the Kiowa!

my dad bought a regular kiowa from the Canadian army when they decommissioned theirs a few years back to buy squirrels. im learning how to fly it now, it would be sweet in pr for recon on kashan i guess.
and yeah we take the doors off on hot days (35-36 + in australia in summer =p) this is done with alot of choppers in aus.
god i remember learning to hover, not moving at 2 ft in 35 degree heat was NOT fun
