Map; Whangxiang

Representing a terrain full of hills and rice fields this is a kind of 'jungle' map with urban and agriculture features. I missed this part in the map list so I started to work out an idea for a new map featuring the PLA vs. any NATO force.

It's suppost to be a mix between all maps featuring PLA and Operation Archer. The ricefields on the hills should be something like

The capture points should be clear if you see the image but here is what I had in mind;

I really liked the setting of Battlefield Vietnam and I try to get this setting back to PR because a good setting and superb gameplay makes absolute awesomeness.

Assets available per faction;
-3 Transport Heli's
-2 Trucks
-3 'cars'
-2 boats

Are you making this map or simply suggesting? There is a specific section of the forum for community works/products :)

In my opinion there are enough maps already with hills dominating the map. Mappers seem to have the idea that if they do not include lots of hills they do not done enough.

"I really liked the setting of Battlefield Vietnam" that caught my eye. Miss that game, should've had more team-oriented players back then though.

Good luck.

Heh... I've been working on a map which features such stepped rice paddies, tho its very difficult to get them 'natural' looking and having to take into account that we only have the one rice crop static thats going to render at range. Problem with it is its a big square (50x50m).

If you can take a try with the editor, most of the community mappers had a map idea, setup something like you and ran off and started to make and they have come out great.

Tad Sae is sort of Vietnamish... :)

Anyway, I'll hope you'll map this, looks interesting!
