Please make sure the mesh for the EOTECH can accomodate for 3D aimpoints, which means making an alpha map on the section where the glass is and painting on the reticle.

This new image looks a bit better, but still very plain. I don't know if is the model, the uv or the texture who is bad but this thing is putting everthing down. Try to repair the uv, make more levels on the texture or repair the model.

I will work more on the texture, and chuck how do i do this? I think i need some help with that!

Update removed some of the scratches looks actually better added some lighting as well :)

Oooh nice! :D The back side of the pistol grip looks a bit rubbish though?

That is what i'm talking about, it's a heavy UV missalignment, who can be fixed easy, but needs time.

Yeah, i like do do textures, uvmaps, models, animations and compiles ^^ and i like to work with the people here.

Looking at the HK417 thread he just needs to UVmap the body and texture it.

Ok done with the texture for the H&K 416 black version!

Really tired now but i will soon start too finish the camo version but i think we actually should just drop that idea for this weapon and head for only the original one instead! Or what do you guys say?

Great that your done, can you pass the files to me this evening?

I think that you should continue on the camo version, that one looks nice also :)

I think i you just need to create an alpha layer with the hologram but i dont know for sure, perhaps a DEV can tell you that.

In PR that would work the same way as the simple red dot sight.
