I used to play all time medic, but it becomes torture sometimes, especially when some of the guys in your squad expect you to rez them in an open field during a fight.

The devs did an amazing job with the new medic.

i had to do that. i was doing good. i fix them up "watching green lines flying by me" running over to SL and bring him back. stop my self from bleeding now and then. i was doing good up to the point i ran out of my supply to bring them back. all of my squad died before i did. " this was all in a rice field"

I really like the new medic too, but I'm still getting used to having to hold down the button for the epipen to go all the way in instead of only tapping it. Otherwise, it's only real bad point is the healing animations, which I believe will eventually be redone.

Haha, I've had a few situations like that.

When you start losing guys, it's time to try to rescue them, but get out of that situation.

I pretty much play medic exclusively if I'm in an Infantry squad, just because for some reason, I love being the guy that is a vital part of the squad. You might have a rifleman, but without a medic, the squad would die quick.

The new aspect that they gave to medics really gives you some decisions you have to make. Do you go out and try and stab him with the pen and sprint back, hopeing he's behind you, or do you wait a little bit and try and get him up later... it seems basic, but at the same time, quite fun and interesting. Dev's pretty much hit it spot on with the medic. Very good kit, and I'm not sure anything else could be done to it.

Ahuh. Thats why I revive them alright sometimes, and other times it just doesn't work.

I also love playing medic, thanks to all the changes + the Aimpoint for US ARMY.

just smoke up and save what you can if its really that bad well at least the SL and some other guy.

and guys if your killed and i come and save your life DON"T RUN OFF until i stop the bleeding. you just gonna die again and make me have to wast my needles on you.

the other news "you know your doing a good job wan running medic if you the top player for you team with out fireing you rifle once."

I've been playing medic 80% of the time for a couple of releases now. I guess it started with me being the only guy willing to go medic and the squad needing one, as was the case a lot of the time.

I really like what's been done with the medic as well. There is no more stupid reload animation on the paddles, which about half of people who played as medic failed to take into account. The push-body-over mechanic with the Even though I can get most casualties with just the epipen, the CPR mechanic is also a great addition. It prevents me from wasting field dressings, and even allows me to push dead bodies quite a distance when they get in a really difficult spot. The fact that the militia medic gets epipens is quite nice as well.

The fact that I use ironsights all the time also means that deviation doesn't bother me NEARLY as much as it bothers most people. I guess when you're pointing a 4-pixel wide front post at a 6 pixel target off in the distance, missing doesn't bother you nearly as much. Though, still, I manage to kill a lot people as medic. Medics get guns for a reason, was always my opinion, so might as well use them.

Yup, 0.8 medic is one of the best feature along with new skins, maps, etc.

Not to mention that he is very useful since we bleed to death and become blind for any injure :P

Although, I believe some medic should be a little more careful. I had bonus kill numerous time because medic come to rez someone while its a very hot zone in an open field, as soon as he rez him, I kill him again + the medic... OR I get killed again when the medic rezz me under fire...

i remember that problem in BF2V i got killed by a building and the medic keep on bring me back just to get killed again. the only reason i think he only reason he stoped shooting me was because he ran out of ammo"

this came to mind for the medic. "drag man/kit" so you can pull him/her out of the line of fire." then work on them

You can't drag people due to engine limitations IIRC. However the medic is great as of 0.8, but i gotta say, when I play sniper, I do love sniping one guy from a squad, then waiting for his medic to come, and headshotting him :D

As a medic, I love revivng a guy without stopping and having him make a beeline for cover before a sniper can take him out again.

Barring that, I once revived a guy 3 times under fire, each time getting closer to cover, before finally bringing him back for good :D
