Anyways... the blue sky looks cleaner and "less stuffy" than the current one.

Most desert skys are blue,if they are brown its because its windy and alot of sand is kicking up.

Agree, increase hellfire range on kashan to 1800m with increased view distance. Also increase the scout helos zoom distance, and increase the laser lock on range to 1800m

However, I've been playing Black Shark a bit these past weeks, and you get shot by tanks quite a lot in that. Also from playing that I've discovered that the Mi-28 and Ka50 dont have radar.
They rely on using a scout aircraft to spot targets then pass the info across. If we could get something like this going on Kashan it would well, rock!

That and idiots who decide they want to play close air support for infantry by the bunkers or hovering really slowly high up. Part of the reason tanks take down attack helicopters so easily in PR is because the Attack Helos don't use real life tactics of hiding behind terrain and only showing themselves to fire, which in the case of the hellfire is not even necessary.
You probably havent flown in Kashan,or maybe didnt even see Kashan or maybe didnt even play PR since 0.7.

All i can say is at least make the goddamn gunner HUD more easy to use,not like a 30 year old TV.

I'm a tanker on Kashan, and when the need arises I go transport pilot. If there's problems with the chopper taking on a tank it's fault with the chopper, not the tank. Just because you don't like it when us tankers send a sabot round through your pretty little helo, doesn't mean you should go on the forums demanding the tank be nerfed. Instead, go on the forums and say "Choppers have this, this and this in RL, I want it in PR because the balance between tanks and choppers is skewed.

Ok the tank is limited to high flying helicopters because it cant aim with the turret very high, if you want to avoid sabbots hitting you just fly higher !

I dont want tanks nerfed for example, but choppers definately need to be more deadly. The thing is, as a tanker you wont know, but I have seen decent pilots face tanks and the tank wins 80% of the time. Just not right.

Like someone said, helicopters in pr dont act realistically, but the problem is that they cant. If you had the ability to fire and forget, or perfect stabilisation and a range advantage then choppers would fly realistically, but otherwise they just cant. With which the balance is off.
"Today's forecast calls for 30mm HE rain with a slight chance of hellfires"

"oh, they're fire and forget all right...they're fired then they forget where the target is"

In RL, Deserts usually have moutains nearby. The desert is a valley, and the moutains draw all the clouds near them, so Kashan, being the way it is, would at most times of the year be dry with a cloudless sky, and windswept. Being windswept, a lot of dust would fly into the air, creating a distance fog.

This is with standard 1000m view distance. It would of course require new lightmaps due to the sun being in a different position than in current version.
This looks like a new map, i LOVE this.

Anyway to add heat waves to the map, or is that not possible? Be like an overlay for the soldiers on the map

I tried that, in dont works each time, plus attack heli pilot has a time of takin down the tanker, while hes maneuvering.

Any way im suggesting to bring back the old .75 spot system representing the heat-cams(choppers can easily spot tanks)
