Where is Wake Island?

Well, a good counter attack map would be great. The new scenario fits perfectly, and as for the Chinese you seem to have four options...
1. Island (whether a random one or the one located in the Southeast, it would allow full assets, if the island was big enough)
2. Carrier (although it wouldn't feel authentic, this would be the most realistic scenario and allow tons of Jets, helos, APCs, and RIBs
3. Submarine (I doubt a full blown invasion force could deploy from a submarine... People would be more willing to believe it was Chinese, but its small size would only allow, some RIBs, maybe 2 small helos, and a few APCs) (Since the US would have an operational airfield, I would see the sub getting bombed every five seconds)
4. And/or on Wake (not very realistic, unless paradrops, would not allow very many assets, but as a temporary spawn at start in conjunction with an uncap somewhere else, would work nicely and allow them to get a foothold on the island)

Also wondering what happend to this map. Wasn´t it already finished? Can remember that some of the testers told me that they will test it soon. But this is now ages ago. :-(

no, there was never a chinese carrier made for it, this making it unplayable.

So was it true that they had a testbuild if the map? Because even today we havent any real US carrier. We have just the small one and on this one its just unreal to have jets like the f18 ;)

If it matches real life you wont hear a peep form me. :D

There are a few things in development from me that might open up a spawn start point. As i said, Make the map and worry about a major spawn point later. If anything the squad that holds the island should get the jets.

I've also wondered that, guess the idea just died and drifted away.
It was supposed to be Jets only though, "capping" the flag from air based on suporiarity and no inf.
This sounds alot better...

It buys me time and I can adjust it slightly and then fit it in for PR. Like I said earlier, I'm not a really pro mapper and this will be my first real project, I've mapped for every game I play, never done it for BF2 before
