Re: Best PR Trailer?
I like the .8 one the best, but the dialogue saying "Incoming! Get down!" and "Keep your eyes open" just doesn't seem to fit. No offense, but it sounds kind of like the person's voice was cracking as they were saying it. The dialogue before it was perfect.
The .5 trailer was seamless, but the editing in the .8 trailer made up for it.

i agree with waldo in a way, the voice over ruined the immersion for me on .8 but it was epic video

.25 trailer made me download PR, so guess that one.
The coolest part was the "fake" getting out of a vehicle animation. (look at 0:40)

0.5 FTW.
The "camera" work sells it for me, .5 has the best cinematography of all of them. Camera movements are purposeful and seem more "professional" to me. Music mix is perfectly sequenced to the video, and the incorporation of game play sounds really enhance it. It almost looks like the DEV's hired a pro to cut that trailer. The others look good, but there is definitely an amateur element to each. I'd have to sit down with a note pad and watch each one repeatedly to come up with specifics, but things like excessive camera movement, hard cuts, disjointed cuts. Not saying its bad, just that .5 is very good, sets a high standard.

I rather like the .25 and .8 trailers.
When you enter a room full of armed men, shoot the first person who makes a move, hostile or otherwise.
He has started to think and is therefore dangerous.

PR v.25?
.25 had a very large element of cheese to it, everything seemed disjointed and the large floating letters kind of ruined it.
PR v.5?
Very impressive, music selection and the dialogue really help to sell it. The camera filter and camera work in general as said earlier defiantly seems the best of them.
PR v.6?
PR v.7?
I'm going to lump these two together because this is when the really bad music strikes. Poor music with sub standard camera work spell death for both of these.
PR v.8?
A massive improvement in both camera work and music, the addition of dialogue was used well, however transitions in music and scene are very disjointed and the camera work is too jerky and fails to catch the more cinematic angles.
Overall .5s trailer seems to hold its title of best due to superior camera work, great music selection and overall feel. Though I have to ask, what's with the Mestia clips, it seems every one from .6 onward has a shot of Mestia in it.

Re: Best PR Trailer?
v.5 obviously. v.8 would be better if it didnt have a mix of scores but some of the actual (loading) music used in PR.
