Xfire and PRMM

Tired of not being able to use the join button on xfire to join strait into a server with your m8s because it takes so long?

Well now I've found a way to solve this problem so that it loads up PRMM as soon as you click on the join button 8)

Do the following:
  1. at the top of xfire, go to Tools>Options
  2. in the Options window go to the "Games" tab at the top
  3. On the left you should see you installed games. Click on BF2.
  4. Now on the right, 1/2 way down you should see a "Advanced Options" button, click it
  5. In the "Extra Command Line Parameters:" Box put in:

    Code: Select all

    +modPath mods/pr
    so it looks like this:

  6. Now click the "ok" button.
Next time you press the "Join Game" button, you should load up PRMM and then go strait into the server 8)

Hope this helps

EDIT: PS. Can a admin sticky this?

Ok so two things that I do.

After the addition that rhino put on here

after the +modPath mods/pr place +fullscreen 1 +playerName yourplayername +playerPassword yourpassword

enter your ingame name and your password in place of the italicized.

should look like this:

+modPath mods/pr +fullscreen 1 +playerName NOOB +playerPassword XXXX

This will allow you to launch into game with your main character without having to go through the activate character screen.

yes this is so you dont have to go through the bf2 activation screen.

your xfire name and password isnt always the same as your ingame name.
