Those insurgents are probibly trained close to what the soldier can sprinting wise, dont forget some insurgents have to walk miles just to get water or messagers running up and down hills in intense heat.

Thanks Dennis for making this sig!

the thing about the bridges being blown is that were not able to repari them as its camped by a tank and apc crew. They also stay back far enough to avoid RPGs.
Its extremely hard to outrun a tank camping ur main. Thats the problem. I tried havign my squad rush out at the smae time to get across the street. But were just gunned down....
I dont know if you say the spawn point is fixed for .85, then lets see what happens, that should make it alot more fair for the insurgents.

Yeah it is 75%[R-DEV]OkitaMakoto wrote:Bleeding and effects, you get them at a certain percent, I want to say its ...75% now? And it wont stop until you either die or get healed back above 75%, i THINK its 75%... The actual blurry screen effect happens at a lower health amount, but forgive me, its been a few months since I played so I dont recall the exact number. It might be in the PR wiki/manual![]()

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

I could see this working seeing as how the whole idea behind INS is asymmetrical balance. Insurgents can sprint faster but shorter, soldiers can spirt longer but slower. Makes sense to me. Don't see it making civilians any less of bait though.
If brute force doesn't work.......your not using enough of it.

Knowing the area is not the only advantage local people can get.The climat is different the insurgents live there and they are used to it, but the invaders dont.I watched a movie about Vietnam, and actually one of the reasons for many US casualties was the climat, because they couldn't get used to it, theyr fisical possibilities where decreased-like sprint, and hardiness, as well as the local diseases, the local population have immunity.About the deseases i understand that this couldn't be implemented in game, but giving the ins a bigger sprint is not that unrealistic at-all, considering they dont have body armour dont carry that much provisions like the army forces.'[R-DEV wrote:OkitaMakoto;873740']Well, home field advantage is limited in that all the realistic options are out[like the troops actually knowing the area better than the opposition] because we all play the map on all sides and its not reality[insurgent team doesnt actually LIVE in the game![]()
Edit: Airsoft they dont have body armour in game.

wrong, current insurgents (some of them) have woodland flak vests - or somewhere along the lines.Maverick wrote:Also, don't forget that the only thing they carry is pouches full of mags, and no body armor(honestly, how does an insurgent stand wearing all that? in that hot sun, jeeze) but yeah, also for more sprint for insurgents and milita!

Re: Perhaps let Insurgents have more sprint?
they may be true, BUT I don't think that their as heavy as or equally as heavy as the body armour US Troops have
