exploding mounted guns
squad leader was buildind a firebase, but when he put down the 50 cal mounteds they would explode if you tried to dig them to build.pretty bad damage for whoever was digging. thanks

I'm not sure why this happens, but I've experienced this myself, though usually with FOBs only placed at the main base for some reason (odd coincidence? I don't know). As far as I can tell, though, this happens because the asset loses health naturally unless it's built 100%, but in this case the FOB/asset is building itself ever so slightly for some reason. As it builds itself, it immediately explodes because it loses health faster than it can repair itself.
If you ever encounter this problem, however, it's not that hard to fix. Simply run in determinedly and shovel it up, just hold down the button. It will stop exploding, and you can get a squad mate to heal you or you can finish building it and you can heal yourself.

AFAIK FOB exploding on main is because it is build to close to Command Post.

if you start repairing almost immediately after placement normally with only 1 shovel with no interruptions whatsoever, the asset will not explode.
But any delay with only one shovel being used = explosions and pain
I would also like this to be changed, its annoying.
