MY HDD Died on me

Well the worst thing ever happened to me last night, my 500 GB SataII HDD died on me and I've lost everything!!

I tried everything to get the data back but no joy, luckily I found an old 160 GB drive and I've just finished putting Windows back on and setting up the Internet connection.

I've also lost all the editing I had done to the Map Pack 2 maps and the fixes to the objects etc etc.... so it's going to be quite some time before I get all that sorted out again!!

I've obviously got to install everything again from scratch and that's 100 of programs, patches and updates for those programs, also all the updates for Windows, BF2, Firewalls, Virus Checker etc etc.

So it looks like I will be out of action for some time and if I don't answer some of your question you know why.

Always look on the bright side if life!!!...

Last time my HDD failed I lost about 200GB of data and also two of my maps I've been doing for 8 months... so I know what you feel. Right now use additional external USB HDD that I use to storage buckups of all important things, so in case of main HDD failure I still have buckups

Ohh I felt this **** too...
Last year, I lost my first FAL, a K98k, a tank, some important documents and a bit of porn.

I'm sure Outlaw lost plenty of that last one

But we want his computer back online asap, get better soon Outlaw's computer!!
