Will you slowly be updating .3 in increments to fix bugs and issues like this, or will we have to wait until next major release (.4?) to have them solved? I wouldn't mind it if I had to deal with this for a little longer, but if we had to wait for .4 to have it fixed, then it might be a minor issue (I can completely understand if you can't find away around the engine's limitations, though). Thanks.

I agree. I am willing to play the game and stick it out if it becomes a problem which it is looking like it might, but others along with me will probably get turned off if we have to wait until .4 comes out. They made going prone slower when they patched the game, so just up the time on it which shouldn't interfer with the engine.six7 wrote:Will you slowly be updating .3 in increments to fix bugs and issues like this, or will we have to wait until next major release (.4?) to have them solved? Look at PRMM now, how many people have we had in the servers lately? It is pretty bad and this sort of thing could just hurt the mod's support base.

Looking at what's going to be in the BF2 1.3 patch, it's highly likely that we'll have to patch to address problems that that causes. Any PR bugs that come up would also be fixed in that patch. If it's something really major though, then there'd probably be a hotfix. However, I'd hope that the testers would pick up something like that before release.

v0.3 of PRMM will probaly come before the 1.3 BF2 patch. We are not sure if v1.3 will have any effects on PRMM or not, if it dose then there will probaly be a hotfix for it.luizinhuu wrote:do the 0.3 version will come before the patch 1.3 of vbf2? how it will work to use the 2 versions altogether? which one to install first and what to do to update correctly?

0.3 will most likely be out before vBF2 1.3. Correct order would be: install PRMM 0.3luizinhuu wrote:do the 0.3 version will come before the patch 1.3 of vbf2? how it will work to use the 2 versions altogether? which one to install first and what to do to update correctly?
When vBF2 1.3 arrives you will have two options:
1. Install 1.3 and accept your PRMM version will probably be bugged.
2. Don't install 1.3, keep playing PRMM 0.3 with the rest of us, and install vBF2 1.3 when the PR DEVs announce a hotfix is ready. (In which case you should install 1.3 before hotfix.)

There is ABR, alternitive battlefiled ranking that supports PRMM. But this aint going to give you any "unlocks" ect. Its mearly to track your stats and awards ect.matgn03 wrote:Is there a ranking system like in BF2? If not, what is the point system for?

A few map questions:
Will there be any maps that take advantage of the newly-implemented night vision? I take it that "Operation Nightshift" will be one (my inference solely based on the name), but are there others?
In a previous mappack, Jungle Fever was included and, if I remember correctly, it wasn't too popular, mostly for reasons regarding video lag. The immense amount of brush made the map somewhat unplayable, especially for someone with a midrange system like myself. Have there been any changes to improve the rendering speed of that map? I ask the same question about Road to Kyongan’Ni, since I remember reading about similar rendering speed complains in a thread.
Otherwise, things look great. Hope to play this soon.
