I noticed that the heat rounds on the BMP look like tank rounds, and the apc rounds are called ap, and three of those so called "heat" rounds to the front of a tank will finish it off. Sounds like AP to me.
Ah ****, I just realized, it's not the BMP, it's the MEC APC on Kashan, and I don't know its name.
Is it just me, or are the weapon names on the BMP reversed?

Oh, I had just watched the BMP bounce bug on the Al Kufrah map, and back when the video was made that was the apc, but now it's the one with wheels...PlaynCool wrote:Its bmp lol.
I got the two confused...

The BMP is the APC with the tank HEAT rounds, and the AP/HEAT (can't remember which though) autocannon. It has treads and is powerful but slow.
The BTR is a wheeled APC, and carries both HEAT and AP autocannon rounds. The only other MEC wheeled APC is the badger, which is comparable to the striker: only .50 cal rounds, but very fast.

do you mean the BRDM-2? never heard of a badger before.McLuv wrote: . The only other MEC wheeled APC is the badger, which is comparable to the striker: only .50 cal rounds, but very fast.
in which case that is not an APC, its an armored scout car, and is armed with a 14.5mm machine gun.

There is also BMP-1 BMP-2 BMP-3, i read in wikipedia that theese vehicules are actually amfibious, and was wondering if they are ampfibiuous in PR? Btw i think that ingame we use the BMP-3(thats the current MEC apc on kashan) BTR( The current mec APC on Jabal al Burg) and badger (the current MEC apc on EJOD desert)

I've heard it called a badger, though it is the BRDM-2. My source is prolly wrong though. And I know it's not an APC per se, but in several maps, it fills the APC role (Ejod, assault on mestia). Besides, its comparable to the Striker, which IS an APC. Oh well.SuperTimo wrote:do you mean the BRDM-2? never heard of a badger before.
