CASEVAC / MEDEVAC

Post by Ainslie »

In short: Casualty Evacuation / Medical Evacuation

A certain Styker APC would be designated a CASEVAC role. It would be manned by two crewmen and x number of medics (probably four to make an entire squad.) It would be marked with a 'star light' cross. It would have the ability to heal seriously wounded soldiers, that a field medic would not be able to deal with (stab wounds, explosions, headshots etc.) The CASEVAC would pull up along side the said injured person, and with the medic on board coming out, would have increased 'healing' power. As if receiving specialist care.
Alternatively: The medic in the CASEVAC / MEDEVAC team can revive the said injured person for x amount of time. In that time, said injured person must get into the Styker to be treated by 'advanced medics'.

The same could be done for helicopters, although it would be far more difficult.

Welcome to the forums

Please search and check the already suggested suggestions thread

please note that if a medic is a passenger in the vehicle and the injured party is not in a gun position...he will be healed in the vehicle.

So effectively...its ingame.

This area of suggestion has been debated very rigorously.

Well we usually end up having an extra Helicopter/Jet squad or two, why not make one a MEDIC squad?

You get credit for spelling MEDEVAC correctly, though. :)
