Why are people so obsessed with having fast ropes? I don't really see the practical use of it, and hovering above the ground is a nice way to catch RPGs or Stingers.

^Very good point. Only use I could uses I could think for fast ropes are:

1) Poor pilots don't have to land so copters don't crash so easily (but don't they crash if copters try to stand in same place :S)
2) nothing

C'mon guys, they're nothing that we need. Funny it is, though.

i still think we should have it, but then agian i am a chopper pilot, and when i am triing to insert the team, i have found myself wishing i could drop them in the area where im not being shot at yet.... but still not enofe room to land, rather then try and land them where there is room, and go boommabey make it so you have to hover still, but the first buttion, the one not to drop crates drops ropes, grapple hocks that are stuck to the chopper untill it moves, and it has to relode, but i dounbt is possible so.
