I don't think that is a good idea to put the Brazil on it now. We will modernizate our army soon, so it's good wait to see what we will have new on the army. And by the way, Project Reality it's a mod for Battlefield 2, wich is a game of war between armys, so don't be stupid thinking in BOPE and etc... For that this, Counter-Trike already exists and i don't want to see my contry's army on favelas of my own contry, that's police job.

Me and some guys have rehearsed a project; and came with few maps and assets for it, set in the Amazon Forest, at Brazilian Borders; but it died. How nows at BF3 engine.

Can create a war Between Brazil and Argentina, or maybe Colombia.

We have a lot of good equipment, the main Army Rifle is the FN FAL made under license by Imbel. But the special groups uses Sig 551, M4, G36, M24, Barret M82, and a lot of high advanced equipment.We do have a weapon devolped here, the MD-97 Modern Firearms - IMBEL MD-97 assault rifle

Our main Assault Rifle will be replaced by a new one. They will combine the better aspects of FN Fal and G36 and will put it together in one weapon; the project is under Imbel responsibility.

We have a project to adopt a new fighter plane; will be choose between Rafalle and Gripen.

We do training's with the American Army Seal's in Jungle Environments, and lot of em doesn’t resist the full training made by our army and quit in the middle because of exhaustion.So, dont say that we don't have a good training.We have guys from here that are structors trainers of Swat.A lot of soldiers come from around the world to train with us.

Another Think that a lot of people don’t know, American Clothes and boot's are made on Brazil. So we have high quality gear too.


And we do have a Main Battle Tank.Is the Leopard-1 A5 last model with updates.


We have some tanks devolped here, like The Engesa EE-T1 Osorio

Yeah we need a couple of south-american factions. I support the inclusion of Brazilian Forces (if they're done) in PR although I wonder... is the idea of this just Brazil VS drug dealers/gangs or the possibility of a full scale war against another country?

In Argentina there were recently some military exercises directed to organize a defense of the water reserves of the country since there's a high suspicion that some countries might invade portions of Argentina in order to gain control of some of the largest sweet water natural reserves.

I'm sure Brazil also has many similar strategic resources including vast oil reserves. Some argue that Brazil could have the largest oil reserve in the world.

So any plans to put Brazil against another conventional military?

I've modelled the FAL variants (bipod, para, scope) that we use and started modelling a FN MAG. They are our standard weapons, AFAIK. Brazilian Army against FARC to destroy weapon caches would be really nice.

Why would Brazil be fighting FARC? You've lost me.

Sorry, I spelled FARC, but the right word would be "drug dealers", in response to that proposal of a insurgency gameplay, but instead of weapon, drug caches.

Haiti would be pretty nice, 'cause we're deployed over there and we won't leave so soon. One example: the Santos' 2nd Light Infantry Battalion (2ºBIL) will be deploying more 100 - 200 men until the end of January... (The Captain who takes care of logistics [a friend of mine] told me this a week ago).
If this faction happens, I think it would be nice to have maps to both scenarios, making it more realistic.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that both have "worst relations". With Ecuador I've heard there has been some small problems but nothing really serious, and Venezuela is likely wanting to replace Brazil as Latin America's biggest power. Chavez's so called bolivarian missions and it's involvement in the inner politics of other neighbouring countries for not to mention his plan of continental integration make one think that Venezuela has more political influence over the continent than Brazil has. Brazil is without a doubt the largest political and military super-power of Latin America, however the increasing power of Venezuela might look like a challenge to the Brazilian position of top-country.

Hugo Chavez closest allies are Rafael Correa, Evo Morales and Daniel Ortega. Those are his unconditional allies. Lula Da Silva, Cristina Fernandez and most of south america's leaders are also allies but they do stay a bit away when Venezuela or it's closest allies make some noise for not to mention that unoficially they see Venezuela as competence.

Hmmmm...

But since PR is kind of based in an alternative present/fictional near future then any situation could be possible.

It could be the USA/NATO vs Brazil
After all it was the brazilians who came with the idea of the South American defence council along with the venezuelans: Union of South American Nations - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and it shouldn't be surprise that such paln is aimed towards a possible american military intervention in the future.
