Not really if we got 3 models of the tree houses and they are just in differnet colors white, red and maybe yellwoish we wouldnt need more I mean its not that big of a diversity in north Norway as I have seen.

Yep just some normal tree houses tats what we have up here

CAnt we just simulate a place where the terrain is more mountain like with alot of places to hide ambush etc. Mostly I thought about something like fools road, ut more variation. Not only forest but also open ground and houses.

SOmeone here that studying at NTNU or another school/friends that can ask if they can model some wooden houses for us?

Sør-Varanger is full of mountains, so if we're (you're) going to make a map in northern Norway, I'd advice making something around Kirkenes.
But Bardufoss and Setermoen in Troms are great options too. (In Setermoen there's a big ammo storage facility. (It can withstand Abrams tanks :twisted

Hey I have a suggestion for a Norway vs. Russia map

Well I think a battle here in the north would been cool
Plan for the map:
Night or Evening
Norway have a Boat with a helicopter, so they can transport troops around. And when the Norwegians reach Vadsø and will cap the City will there spawn one F-16 at the airport and some APC, cars, tanks, trucks etc.
Russia will start with Copters, tanks, trucks, cars etc. at the occupied airport. and some vehicles in Kirkenes.

This would been a real Arctic combat

But this is only a suggest, from a crazy guy in Northern Norway...

EDIT: 4km is a bit big for a first map and I'm something simpler in terms of layout so this place, just a little to the West of Kirkenes Airport is something I'm considering.

Vadsø (Uncap able):
Vadsø is the capitol of Finnmark County. Vadsø have a “Fish Oil Factory” at “Vadsøya” a small isle connected to Vadsø with a bridge. Vadsø also have a military station. Vadsø have a small commercial airport a little outside the city (east side).

V. Jakobselv (Vestre Jakobselv):
V. Jakobselv is a small village with a strategic bridge and one of the best fishing rivers in the world to split up the village.

Varangerbotn:
Varangerbotn is the place where the Varanger fjord ends. Varangerbotn is a small village with a round drive that’s splits up the roads, one to the North side of the fjord and one to the south and one to the west. There is also a small gas station there (the gas prices use to be very low).

Bugøynes:
Bugøynes is a small fishing village. You can see the street lights in Bugøynes from Vadsø and opposite.

Kirkenes airport Høybuktmoen:
Høybuktmoen is a military and commercial airport. Next to the airport is there a military base (GSV = Garnisonen i Sør-Varanger). But that base has been occupied by the Russian forces.

Kirkenes:
Kirkenes are the 3. largest town in Finnmark but because of the map size will only the city centre/dock area be at the map. Kirkenes have the hugest hospital in the Varanger region also.
Kirkenes is the closest city next to the Russian border in Norway, Finnmark.

Mountain base:
A little military home made base. The Russian use it to cover the “Norwegian-Finnish Border” at this map.

Road Base:
A small base used to cover and block the road.
