Mmmh you just not read my post. Take a second look. And are you sure that snipers dont have pistol in their gear?Maybe you are a sniper in your real life.

AFAIK, the pistol is only for emergencies, where the ****'s hit the fan and the sniper is trying to get out and stay alive. At this point, stealth is pretty much useless, as at least one enemy squad knows where you are; your priority should by trying to shake them off, not sneak up and pop them all with your pistol.
