Is the G3 in PR still zeroed to 300 metres? If so, the "number 3" sight should be used, no?

No guns in PR are actually "zeroed" in the literal sense. So it's nothing to worry about.[R-MOD]KP wrote:Norwegian AG3F2s.

Re: HK gunsight (a "balanced" approach)
From what I recall, the rounds go straight ahead until they reach the "zero" point, then start dropping. Still, if they are "zeroed", or whatever you want to call it, to 300 metres, they should use the "number 3" sight. Or am I way off?[R-DEV]Jaymz wrote:No guns in PR are actually "zeroed" in the literal sense. So it's nothing to worry about.

i *think* the longer the range the smaller the sight picture because it focuses your eye, thats why 300 is bigger than 100 (and that the target is closer so you need bigger sight picture)[R-MOD]KP wrote:From what I recall, the rounds go straight ahead until they reach the "zero" point, then start dropping. Re: HK gunsight (a "balanced" approach)
I'm talking in-game zeroing. Always thought the different apertures were factory-zeroed to 100, 200, 300 and 400 m, respectively IRL. Hence, if the rifles are "zeroed" to 300 m in-game, they should use the 300 m aperture. Though you may be right.

i think we either the sights on the G3A3 and soon-to-be AG3A1-2 to the 300 meter aperture, bet the the m16, l85 rifles and so forth also be change the aperture for CQB to the small one

L85 can change aperture's on the irons version, dunno about the m16 and QBZ, but I would guess so.

Though the A3 is sexier than the A5 indeed.
Are you sure the newer ones with that new trigger group have open sights? I'm not sure about that.
