ladder/rope on a firebace or expand the area of kit request on the firebace
hello my suggestion is to put a rope or a ladder to the fire baces so you could climb up and request a kit because its a bit hard to request a kit when it has a tall bace that or expand the area of the firebace so that you could get it in the general earea oh lets say 5 meter radius.

You don't have to climb up to get a kit, just stand next to it.

okay you know when the dirt pile on the fire bace is like 3-4 meters tall and you cant get a kit becasue of that what im sugesting is that that you can request a kit off that dirt pile or the fire bace has a ladder or a rope you can climb to get to the radio area

-I'd put a ladder or something on it just to stop tards from building it that way in order to stop people from knifing the radio.

^yea, but BigPimp is right as well, you guys. You can't request kits from the bottom of the dirt pile. AFAIK you need to be level with it. therefore if they're put on a pole or something and are 5 meters high you wouldn't be able to get up it and request a kit.

I have, but you can still just jump and request it if it's too high.Scot wrote:Just jump, I've never comes across a Firebase which I couldn't jump ontop of![]()

Well, if it's a problem it sounds like there's an easy fix. And if it's not a problem, then it's not a problem.

I think that the whole firebase should be designed smaller so that you could fit it inside a house for instance. At the present they are very easy targets on open air asset maps like Kashan. Vehicle spawn could be a bit further or separate at close range of FB.

^yea, but I'd like to see it possible instead to convert buildings into FOBs, and leave the FOBs as are. Though that would require mucho coding and lots of headaches for the Devs most likely
As to the ladders, I believe that they were taken off the bunkers (tehy had em in 0.7) because they caused server crashes due to the maximum number of ladder-type things (sorry, I don't know the mapping lingo
).
But if the limit of deployable structures containing such ladders is only 4 per team, I'm sure mappers could keep that in mind when making maps with ladders/removing unnecessary ladders over the limit.
