How about it going into critical health when to much damage is attained, instead of spinning out of control?
If you set the health high enough, and the critical damage thing remains the same, surely you could have it at least to start flaming and allow enough time to ditch and bail out? Plus, if you hit the ground hard, it wont be instantly destroyed.
Surely THAT could be implemented on a networked server, or could it not?

I just have a round on PR SP, i played the old map op Black Hawk Down, go in insurgents, take an RPG and go to the hotel roof near the flag named POOL.
And shoot the Black Hawk, it's awesome, it's going down like in the movie
